Our Mission
Jar Joy started with a simple mission: to provide the world with moments of joy through innovative desserts that make people happy. That was our mission when we started in 2014, and it still is today.
We believe whipping up exceptional flavor, premium ingredients and unique concepts “bake” for the best desserts possible. That’s why we are committed to this recipe for success in every jar we create.
And because we value quality over quantity so highly, our desserts are perfectly portioned into convenient jars to offer a totally satisfying treat without the guilt of overindulging.
Our Story
The Jar Joy story begins with a single chef — Sarah Hunte (founder) — who started it all from scratch with her love for baking cupcakes.
Once her cupcake business really started to take flight, Sarah opened two brick-and-mortar cupcake shop locations with her husband Shaun, which they would later trade in to create Jar Joy.
Through years of experience working with sweets, Sarah and Shaun saw how customers responded passionately to both traditional favorites and new combinations of familiar flavors. It was this experience that would later ignite their passion for creating desserts that would rekindle fond memories for many and create new ones for many others.
Today, dessert lovers everywhere can enjoy Jar Joy’s perfectly packaged mini indulgences in a growing variety of delicious and clean-ingredient flavors.
